View the Full App List
Windows 11 adds an extra step to view your full list of installed apps.
Instead of opening the Start menu and immediately seeing the App List next to the app tiles, you have to click the All button in the Pinned section of the Start menu. (A Windows update renamed this choice from All apps to just All.)
Then, you can browse the list or search for a specific app. Of course, it might be quicker to type the first few letters of the app's name to search for it. Note that within the All list, you can still click on a letter of the alphabet to show a grid of the whole alphabet so you can zoom in on a particular letter.
Bonus: Click on Search instead of Start to see your most recently used apps.
Similarly, the More link in the bottom half of the Start menu shows more of your recent files and apps.
