Snipping tool: Create screenshots and snapshots 1. Open the Snipping Tool: There are four ways to open the Snipping Tool: Select the Start button, enter snipping tool, then select Snipping Tool from the results. Press Windows logo key + Shift + S for a static image snip. Press Print Screen (PrtSc) for a static image snip. Press Windows logo key + Shift + R for a video snip. 2. Choose a Snipping Mode: Rectangular Snip: Draw a rectangle to capture a specific area. Freeform Snip: Draw a freeform shape to capture an area. Window Snip: Select a window to capture it. Fullscreen Snip: Capture the entire screen. 3. Capture the Screenshot: Once you've chosen your snip type, a crosshair will appear, allowing you to select the area you want to capture. 4. Edit and Save (Optional): The screenshot will be automatically copied to the clipboard, or you can choose to open it in the Snip & Sketch editor for further editing. Additional Features: Drawing and Writing: Use the pen or mouse to add annotations or notes directly on the screenshot. Highlighting and Cropping: Use the tools to highlight important sections or crop the image. Sharing: Share the screenshot directly from the Snip & Sketch app
