How to Reset Your Voicemail Password in the Cisco Self Care Portal (Step-by-Step Guide)
Follow these instructions to reset your voicemail password using the Cisco Self Care Portal. This process can only be done using Firefox.
Step 1: Open Firefox and Go to the Self Care Portal
Open the Firefox browser on your computer.
Type or copy and paste this address into the address bar:
Press Enter to load the login page.
Step 2: Log In to the Portal
Enter your Username: This is your first initial + last name.
Example: If your name is Test User, your username is tuser.
Enter your Password: Use the same password you use to log in to your computer.
Step 3: Navigate to General Settings
At the top of the screen, click on General Settings.
Step 4: Update Your Voicemail Password (Phone Services PIN)
Look for the section labeled Phone Services PIN.
Enter your desired new PIN in the New Phone PIN box.
Make sure it’s something you’ll remember!
Re-enter the same PIN in the Confirm New Phone PIN box to verify it.
Step 5: Confirm the PIN Change
After saving, look for a green bar at the top of the screen that says:
"The new PIN has been successfully saved."
If you see this, your PIN change was successful.
Step 6: Test Your New PIN on Your Desk Phone
Go to your desk phone and use the new PIN to access voicemail.
If it works, you’re all set!
