Step-by-Step Guide to Accessing the Virtual Machine and Using Minitab
Step 1: Open the Browser and Navigate to the URL
- Open a browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, or Edge).
- Go to the following URL: https://ungerglobal.hostedrmm.com:8040.
Step 2: Log in to the Portal
- Once the webpage loads, click the "Login" button located in the upper right-hand corner of the page.

You will be prompted to log in:

Username: Enter your first initial followed by your last name (e.g., jdoe).

Password: Enter unger.unger.

Click "Login" to proceed.
Step 3: Access the Virtual Machine
- After logging in, look for the computer labeled UNGUSVM-TEMP01.

Double-click on UNGUSVM-TEMP01 to begin accessing the virtual machine.
- If prompted to download and install the ConnectWise ScreenConnect client, follow these steps:
- Download the installer.
- Run the installer to complete the installation.
- If you need administrative credentials to install, contact IT via email at it@ungerglobal.com.
- If you are not prompted for any installation, proceed to the next step.
Step 4: Log in to the Virtual Machine
- After double-clicking on UNGUSVM-TEMP01, a new window will appear with the Windows 10 login screen.

Log in to Windows as you normally would with your usual username and password.
Step 5: Open Minitab Software
- Once logged into the virtual machine, locate and double-click the Minitab icon on the desktop to open the software.

If prompted to sign in (since you're using the demo version), follow these steps:

Click "Sign In" when prompted.
- A browser window will open with the Minitab login screen.

Enter the following credentials:

Email: infotech@ungerglobal.com

Password: Minitab.Unger2024!
- Once you receive the "Sign in successful" message, return to the Minitab application and begin using it as normal.
Additional Notes:
-
Single User Access: Only one user can be logged in and use Minitab at a time.

Z Drive Access:
- Any files you need can be opened from the Z drive on the virtual machine.
- You can also save files back to the Z drive.
- If you do not see the Z drive, contact the IT department for help.
